Town Center Housing / Greenbelt Master Plan

Housing has been an important element of all master plans. Mr. Koff was retained by the Town of West Bridgewater to prepare their first master plan. Working with a broad based committee, priority planning issues which have long been neglected such as housing, town center revitalization, zoning reform, water and waste water planning, resource protection, historic preservation, and traffic congestion are now being addressed. Grant funding was identified to ensure that key recommendations of the Greenbelt/Town Center Master Plan are going to be carried out. A recent Town Meeting overwhelmingly approved an appropriation to develop a comprehensive Water Resources Management Plan based on the findings of this Master Plan. MHD initiated design work on a highly congested intersection in the town center. A Housing Action Plan has recently been prepared with support by Larry Koff & Associates under the direction of a newly formed Housing Committee.
