Wilber School Re-Use
|
The firms of Larry Koff & Associates and Bluestone Planning Group were recently retained by the Town of Sharon to assist the Wilber School Redevelopment Committee in understanding the physical planning, market/feasibility, and design issues associated with the re-use and redevelopment of the Wilber School. This analysis will enable the Committee to consider alternative development scenarios and their opportunities and constraints. From this analysis, we will facilitate a consensus as to which alternatives represent the highest and best uses as well as to prioritize public purpose uses which provide less financial return. The product of this study will be the identification of a development program which can be incorporated into a Request for Proposal.

Post Office Square Vision/Goal Plan |
In the Town of Sharon, Larry Koff & Associates prepared a site plan review process for Planning Board review of Minor and Major projects within the Town Center. Design Guidelines were drafted to assist in this process. As a consequence of this planning and rezoning, substantial investment has taken place in the town center including new development and building renovation. Larry Koff & Associates was recently again retained to work in the downtown. A Mixed Use Zoning Overlay District was prepared for the town's commercial areas including the Town Center. This zoning change was approved at Town Meeting and would permit more flexibility in density, dimensional standards, landscaping, and location of buildings and residential uses.
