Village Zoning Plan
The Town of Scituate retained the services of Larry Koff & Associates and Bluestone Planning Group to develop a vision for rezoning the village areas of Greenbush, Scituate Harbor, and North Scituate. Sensitive to the character and development needs of the three districts, the zoning will encompass mixed uses, multifamily housing, and inclusionary housing.
Humarock Village Zoning Study
The Town of Scituate retained LKA and Bluestone Planning Group to develop new zoning for Humarock Village, a beachfront community located on a barrier beach. The team undertook background research on existing conditions including flood zones, wastewater treatment, water supply, stormwater management, buildout, and constraints on building elevations. With the support of local civic leaders, the Town Planner, and the Planning Board, the team developed modifications to the zoning. Building on a challenging process of local consensus building, the zoning bylaw was subsequently submitted to Town Meeting.
