Ashland Economic Development Plan Larry Koff & Associates identified in conjunction with the Office of Community Development, the Planning Board and the Ashland Redevelopment Authority a vision and blueprint for Economic Development. Planning, zoning reform, incentives, design guidelines for infrastructure improvements, and organizational changes were highlighted to attract investment and revitalization of priority sites.

Marketing and Fiscal Analysis for Northern Raynham |
Assessed the market viability and fiscal impacts of three development scenarios for environmentally sensitive, commercially zoned land in northern Raynham, under consideration for locating a future commuter rail station. Highighted key factors to be addressed if a proposed train station is to leverage the most positive impact upon the area's economic development potential.

Belmont Comprehensive Plan
|
Larry Koff and Associates led a team of consultants to prepare a Master Plan focused on achieving a more sustainable Belmont by enhancing its commercial areas, undertaking improvements to the Town's pedestrian infrastructure and transit, and protecting the Town's character. This comprehensive plan was developed over a two year period with extensive public participation through the use of working sub-committees, public meetings, surveys, and the town's web site. An Executive Summary provided nine innovative recommendations that integrated the findings and strategies of six elements according to a Vision for a sustainable community.

Arlington Commercial Development Plan
|
Larry Koff and Associates joined with Todreas Hanley Associates, Colliers Meredith & Grew, ICON architecture, inc., Howard/Stein Hudson Associates Inc., and Walker Parking Consultants to prepare a Vision and Action Plan for the Town of Arlington's three commercial areas located along the Massachusetts Avenue corridor. Arlington Center was targeted as the priority area in need of revitalization. Organization and funding strategies were identified to enable each of the commercial areas to achieve their economic development vision. As part of this study, recommendations were developed for the reuse of key underutilized commercial sites located within or adjacent to the commencial areas.

Fiscal
Impact Analyses/ |
Larry Koff & Associates works on behalf of both municipal boards and/or developers to project the potential fiscal impacts and population growth that will occur as a result of proposed development projects. Projects have included affordable and mixed income housing, as well as commercial and mixed use developments. Recent projects have also focused on fair application of Impact Fees and Permitting Fees under Rhode Island's enabling statutes. |
