Village Centers/Rural Areas Master Plan

Larry Koff & Associates was the lead consultant in preparing a Master Plan for the town of Carver, Massachusetts. A strategic plan was developed to address growth management issues around a new vision for the community which builds upon the open space and cranberry agriculture and identifies alternative patterns of development which are revenue positive to substitute for the standard subdivision. A decentralized system of water and waste water planning, the promotion of new patterns of housing centered around existing villages and new Planned Unit Development Projects, and the promotion of economic growth in designated areas are some of the strategies that were considered.
